About Me

Attorney Bereket Banbore is the founding attorney of the firm and an experienced lawyer with more than two decades of legal training and practice in international, immigration, and domestic law. He brings a global perspective and deep legal insight to his representation of individuals, families, and businesses.
Mr. Banbore earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Addis Ababa University in 2002. He later received a Master’s degree (M.A.) in International Law and Human Rights from the United Nations University for Peace in 2006, followed by a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from The George Washington University Law School in 2010.
From 2002 to 2006, Mr. Banbore served as a legal consultant for the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he worked on matters involving international law, diplomacy, and government policy. This experience laid the foundation for his strong command of international legal frameworks and cross-border issues.
Since 2011, Mr. Banbore has been practicing immigration law across the United States, representing clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and federal courts. He has successfully assisted numerous clients in a wide range of immigration matters, including asylum and humanitarian protection, family-based immigration, religious worker visas, sports-related visas, removal defense, and federal court litigation such as writs of mandamus.
In addition to his immigration practice, Mr. Banbore has expanded his legal services since 2021 to include family law, business law, traffic and minor criminal matters, and personal injury cases in the State of Maryland. His multidisciplinary practice allows him to provide comprehensive legal solutions tailored to the complex and evolving needs of his clients.

Attorney Bereket Banbore is a dedicated and results-driven attorney who has spent more than a decade helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate complex legal challenges with confidence. With extensive international training and U.S. litigation experience, he provides strategic, compassionate, and effective legal representation.
Mr. Banbore has a strong academic foundation in international and U.S. law. He earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Addis Ababa University, followed by a Master’s degree in International Law and Human Rights from the United Nations University for Peace. He later obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Banbore served as a legal consultant for the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he worked on international legal matters and government policy. This background gives him a unique global perspective and a deep understanding of cross-border legal issues—an advantage he brings to every client he represents.
Since 2011, Attorney Banbore has successfully represented clients in immigration matters nationwide before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and federal courts.
